In case you didn't see the original post, Softies for Mirabel is a craft call-out for soft toys to be donated to children whose lives have been affected by parental drug abuse. I was planning on making some narwhals, but it looks like I'll have to construct my own sewing pattern for them, they are a hard thing to find!
The softies can be sewn, knitted or crocheted, so I have compiled a list of my favourite patterns of each technique for your delectation (though I can't actually crochet so I won't be able to try them myself yet...)
