I ♥ treasury features

As busy as I often am making my own pretty things, it is nice to take a break every now and then and look through gorgeous lists of Etsy treasuries for inspiration.

Oooh, such tempting pretty things! I love seeing peoples' interpretations of a particular theme/colour/concept, and it's even nicer when you come across treasuries that feature some of your own items - it warms me inside to think that out of the hundreds of items of every colour/subject possibly, they chose something of mine to make it into their carefully chosen selection of 16 items!

Here are some of my most recent favourites:

have you seen any super cute treasuries recently?

new additions to the shop - Le Lapin Série

There are a few new additions to my Etsy shop this week...

Le Lapin Série is a collection of pretty bunnies with sparkly Swarovski crystal eyes who would be more than happy to adorn your cardigan or jacket.
.. I'm sure there's one to match almost any outfit!

You can see them all in my Etsy shop

Thanks to all the lovely Etsy sellers who featured my items in their treasuries!

busy making bunnies

I thought since my business name involves rabbits, perhaps I should start making some...

I'm not sure if you can tell how tiny these bunnies are - only about 1cm across!

lovely new stockist - a room in my house

After having a stall at the Vintage Tea Party & Gift Fair in Highgate, run by the lovely Cristina and Susanna, I was asked if I would like to stock some of my origami goodies in their little shop, A Room In My House.

Tucked away just off Church Lane in East Finchley, North London, it's a rather familiar haunt - just across the way from my old primary school, and round the corner from my granny's house!

The shop is like a big, lovely dressing-up box, and while the girls specialise in vintage clothing, accessories and homewares, there are also pretty crafty bits and pieces and handmade goodies scattered amongst the vintage gems.

If you happen to be in the area, why not pop in and say hello?

origami crane love

It gives me the warmest feeling when I'm just casually scrolling through my Google Reader of an evening - and suddenly catch sight of something that looks oh so familiar...

Miss Laura of Blue Eyed Night Owl recently featured this little necklace of mine, as well as a whole bunch of other pretties, in a blog post about origami themed goodies - how lovely!

Go and check out all the other pretties she found, here!

Thanks, Laura!

polyvore lovin' #8

I haven't played on Polyvore for ages, but some clever peeps with exceptional taste have included some of my Matin Lapin goodies in their sets.

Here are some of my favourites:

sparkly butterfly party bag fillers

I have been a very busy bee so far this week - my lovely friend Caroline of Funk E Angels has asked me to make some sparkly butterflies to use in her awesome handmade party bags.

I'm ever so slightly disappointed that such awesome party bags weren't available when I was little - sure, we had the plastic ones with cheap toys, a box of sweeties and a slice of birthday cake, but Caroline's are handmade to a specific theme and filled with fancy goodies - rather than foam bird gliders, clackers or maze puzzles!

She's putting together some incredibly girly party bags this week, and pink was the overall colour scheme... wanna see how I've been getting on?

some of the unfinished butterflies - and an unusually small amount of loose glitter!

What are your memories of party bags?

Polyvore lovin' #6

Those cheeky Polyvore minxes have been at it again - check out some of the outfits that have been made including Matin Lapin products...

shop update: new balloon necklaces

Miss Siobhán and Miss Emily, a couple of my creative muses, have been suggesting for aaaaaages that I make some necklaces like the hot air balloon brooches in my shop, and I have finally got round to doing just that.

Here are my first lot of designs, do you like them?

Tuesday treasuries

Oh Etsy, you bring such warmth to my cold, dull days - I love hearing from people who have used my items in their treasuries. Here are some of my faves from this week:
