my perfect balcony

I've lived in my new flat for 6 months now, and the weather may not have been great, but I can't keep using that as an excuse not to sort out my balcony. Having never had an outside space before, I'm not all that sure where to start, so I've been "researching".

The big question now is...

...how do I want my balcony to feel?

{dreamy} {modern} {romantic} {cosy} 

{inspiring} {pretty} {lush} {ambient}

{comfortable} {relaxing} {calm} {traditional}

Ideally, it would be nice to have the space to do something more interesting...

But I think this one is my favourite, from a practical point of view...

...it's green, it's sensible, it's practical, it's a workable environment, and best of all - it's got turf! And people laughed at me when I suggested I turf my balcony! It looks ace!
